You ever have those times where your fighter is in critical condition, and you go to dock it only for you to make a wrong move and slip back out into combat? Well I have and I bet others have either. If enabling the docking mode on your fighter locked you into the ship’s Z-Level, then you’d be able to safely dock without fear of accidentally being sent back into combat with a 4% hull.
