YOUR APPEAL: For reference: I’m on the server for the third and fourth time. It is easy to imagine my surprise when I received this permanent ban for opening an airlock. At the same time, I didn’t even hurt anyone, but the administrator considered opening an airlock as a terrible crime, although this is purely an IC situation, like everything that is described in the reason. When I asked why, he threw me a link to the forum. That’s why I’m here. I also want this note to be deleted, since the entire ban is insane, especially considering the specifics of the MRP server.

This is a pretty standard policy and is a thing on most SS13 servers for several reasons that aren’t worth getting into. In the meantime, your explanation seems counter to the actual ban reason, but that’s not for me to decipher.

Please await the banning admin to respond further.

Alright. This is going to be a multi point thing, so everyone saddle up for a fun ride.

First let’s recount the events of the round that you got the ban on. You first arrived via arrival shuttle (Point 1), vaguely made your way to tool storage or somesuch to gain access to a blunt instrument, then proceeded to point 2 where you broke through a window and into security. You then broke through another window and into security proper, evidently in order to steal a set of handcuffs. While incarcerated I initiated the first of two tickets and issued a warning and watchlist to your ckey. You were then aprehended by security, then made your way around for a bit (we were watching out), before attempting to hack the air alarm at point 3. Then we smited you to prevent further harm being caused to the crew and initiated the second of two tickets.

Alright, now that the CSI shenanigans are out of the way allow me to continue and properly address your appeal.

Firstly, You attempted to multikey. Your appeal is DENIED based off of that.

Second, the ban reason clearly stated that you did significantly more than “open an airlock” and any type of contrived logic attempting to say you were creating a new airlock will henceforth be disregarded and ignored despite being on the record. What most likely happened is the server went “WAIT, A MATCH TO BAN CRITERIA!” and then yote you.

Thirdly, this is not a permanent ban as the title of the forum would imply. Due to improper information there would be sufficient reason to reject the appeal and make you submit another.

Fourthly, due to your appeal text not actually addressing the original ban reason this appeal is DENIED

Fifthly, throughout your ticket interactions with me you consistently provided little actual information about your intentions, did not directly answer any of the major questions that I had for you, and generally proved uncooperative. Frankly due to the above you should consider yourself lucky that I don’t extend this ban.

I will allow you a rebuttal before I close the thread if you wish to bring to light any new information or mitigation.

Apparently, you still have to remind about the MRP every time …
Firstly, i didn’t attempted to multikey. My presence of two accounts does not mean that I used them to enter the server at the same time. You say that it is. This is not true. If you are not embarrassed by my forum name, then I don’t know what to do.
Secondly, I was banned for airlock. Just because before airlock it was not meant that I would receive it. This was used to ban me and invite me to the forum.
Thirdly, 184 days pf airlock opening om a MRP-server is a permanent ban becuase if such a trash is happening on the whole server, then I’m afraid for it.
Fourthly, I have attached a screenshot.
Fifthly, I have provided enough information to understand that I am new and not completely familiar with the mechanics of the server. However, instead of calmly continuing my acquaintance with the server, I received a strange ban and unwillingness to perceive the information as it is.
And finaly, Based on my arguments, I do not consider this appeal to be closed. If you did not want to continue the dialogue through the PM, and now also on the forum, I will have to contact another administrator.

B: I could use the words ban evasion instead if that makes you feel better.
C: No you weren’t, as previously stated contrived logic to suggest the contrary is not being considered.
D: I don’t see any screenshot.
E: You may have been new to the server but you certainly aren’t new to SS13 or the community in general.
F: You can consider this open, but soon it will be closed. You can attempt to appeal again in a month with either a better reason for why we should unban you combined with you actually acknowledging what you did, or bring a vouch from Beestation Sage or another MRP server and offer methods for us to verify their identity such as ckey or discord ID.

Your appeal is DENIED.
